He had a diease that gave him bumps on his body. He ran track for Ohio State. He went to the omlimpics and won three gold medals.
This book is a biography, but i thing the purpose of it is that differnt race people can play sports just as good as white people.

I would recommened this book to runners. One reason is because it's inspring. the way its inspring is how he worked and still ran track and still got good grades.
